Randy Travis Pens Sweet Tribute To Loretta Lynn

The tributes keep pouring in for Loretta Lynn, who died at age 90. This time it’s from another country icon, Randy Travis. The two go way back to the 80s when they first met in Nashville. The “Three Wooden Crosses” singer posted a photo of the two on Instagram, writing in the caption, “My roots in country music run deep because of my love and admiration for ‘Ms. Loretta.’ When I arrived in Nashville in the ’80s, she was there to encourage me and allow me to open for her on tour.” We were lucky that the Country Music Hall of Famers collaborated on “Shopping For Dresses” in 1990.
