The Country Music Association says Hank Williams Jr., Marty Stuart and Dean Dillon are the part of the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Class of 2020,  Hank Williams Jr. earns the honor in the Veteran Era Artist category; Marty Stuart enters as the 2020 Modern Era Artist; Dean Dillon joins as a Songwriter.

This class brings the total Country Music Hall of Fame inductees to 142.

An anonymous music industry panel chosen by the Country Music Association elects the Hall of Fame class each year.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Dean, Marty and Hank Jr. into the unbroken circle and honor this revered milestone,” CMA CEO Sarah Trahern said Wednesday. “I’m sad we can’t toast this year’s class in person at the Country Music Hall of Fame, but I hope this news can bring some joy and cause for celebration during this time that our world has turned upside down.”

The CMA unveiled this year’s class virtually, due to the ongoing global health crisis. Plans to induct each at a Medallion Ceremony should be announced at a later date
