Tim McGraw revealed how he makes the sweetest — and highly-requested — birthday treat for his girls, and it’s “tres bien!”
McGraw is the only man in his household, with wife Faith Hill and the superstar couple’s three adult daughters, Gracie (25), Maggie (24) and Audrey, who celebrated her 21st birthday earlier this month. The “Live Like You Were Dying”” singer shared on Instagram on Tuesday morning (December 13) that he goes back to his Delhi, Louisiana roots to spoil his girls on their birthdays.
“Being a Louisiana boy, I grew up with beignets. It’s been part of my DNA since the earliest memories that I have,” McGraw said. He stood in the kitchen, walking viewers through the process to make the perfect beignets, step by step. McGraw said that it’s easy to use the mix from Cafe Du Monde, an iconic New Orleans-based cafe known for its beignets and other items. He continued, saying as he showed how to make the beignets: “I make these quite a bit. Every birthday morning for all of my girls, that’s their request. They want beignets for breakfast.”
