Galena Unified Schools will cancel classes for Thursday and Friday January 13 and 14 due to the limited COVID testing supplies and for the health and safety of the staff and students. Complete details are to follow.

The decision to cancel classes was made due to limited COVID testing supplies and the impact the virus has had upon students, staff members and their families.The time away from school will provide an opportunity for acquiring more testing supplies and for deep sanitization of our buildings.
Students are not required to engage in school work in an online format during this cancellation. Onsite instruction is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, January 18.All after school activities are canceled for Thursday and Friday. School breakfasts and lunches will not be available.
