The Scenic dog park is now open at corner of Sherman Ave and Main avenue in Neosho! There is a new parking area and the water is turned on at the dog water station.
1. Dog Park hours 5am to Midnight.
2. No dogs with out people – no people without dogs.
3. Watch your dogs at all times. Discourage barking and digging. If your dog digs a hole, fill it.
4. Clean up after your dog.
5. No aggressive dogs. Do not let your dog pester or mount other dogs. Watch for signs of aggression.
6. No spike, prong or pinch collars. However your dog must wear a collar or harness in the run at all times.
7. No dogs in heat. Closely monitor un-neutered males.
8. If your dog gets in a fight, exchange contact information and leave the dog run. You are responsible for any injury caused by your dog.
9. Dogs must be licensed and immunized.
10. Bring children at your own risk. Children under ten must be accompanied by an adult.
11. No glass containers.
…Be sure to Use caution and judgement when bringing food into the run.
If your dog becomes aggressive or overly playful, remove them from the situation to prevent any incidents.
Avoid bringing toys that may cause tension or fights between dogs.
Lastly, be courteous to other dog owners and their dogs, and enjoy the time spent with your furry friend!
