It’s officially “Lake Life” season, and we want everyone to have a safe summer out on the waters. It only seems common sense, but just a quick review for you. Let’s work together as outdoor enthusiasts to keep our lakes safe and clean!
Refrain from activities in the main channel
Always wear have everyone in the boat, canoe, or kayak wear a life jacket
Don’t be “under the influence” while operating a motorized boat, jet ski, etc.
Keep to the right when passing others
Don’t plow wakes near other boats and docks
Always wave at other boaters 🙂
Keep fishermen, kayakers, and swimmers at a safe distance
Night Time:
Only use docking lights when docking
Reduce loud noises after sundown
Avoid going full throttle
Use your navigation lights at night
