Jason Aldean Has Recorded His First Christmas Song

Jason Aldean spent many years being opposed to recording a Christmas album. However, he’s finally folded into the holiday spirit, and at a poignant time, too. He recorded his own version of Alabama’s “Christmas In Dixie” not a moment too soon. It was announced that Alabama co-founder Jeff Cook died at the age of 73, so it’s a nice tribute. Jason said he was hesitant to break his non-Christmas streak, but he’s a huge fan of Alabama, and Randy Owen gave him his stamp of approval, so he went ahead and recorded it.
