Be a superhero from April 1st – 18th and donate blood. Lamor Mayor Mike Hull is hosting his 2nd Annual Red Cross Blood Drive. Head to the First Baptist Church located at 1301 E. 6 Street, Lamar.

The Red Cross is grateful to the hundreds of thousands of individuals who have rolled up a sleeve to give so far this year. It’s important to remember donated blood has a limited shelf life, so supplies must be constantly replenished.

Blood drive safety
Each Red Cross blood drive and donation center follows the highest standards of safety and infection control, and additional precautions – including face masks for donors and staff, regardless of vaccination status – have been implemented to help protect the health of all those in attendance. Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive.
