Today, June 16, is National Fresh Veggies Day. We are celebrating the exceptional gardeners and area Famer’s Markets that provide us with these delicious summer tasty treats. Nothing tastes better than a vegetable fresh out of the garden as they are packed with unmatchable flavor and nutrition. We are just about to hit the height of the growing season. There is no such thing as a “bad” vegetable; some we may have to dress up with cheese.
